Kim Shannon has served on the Taradale Business Association committee for fifteen years, nine of those years Kim has been Chairman.

I was appointed as Councils Representative on the Business Association’s Committee in 2019. 

Kim and I worked closely to:

• develop the Business Associations strategic plan, goals and  
  objectives for the committee to adapt and adopt

• we successfully facilitated the process to increase the Association’s
  funding through a Levey increase (it had been eight years since the previous increase)

• working with the Associations Coordinator Kim and I have broadened the range of activities delivered to attract consumers to the Taradale retail, commercial and light industrial businesses.
